VS Code on Ubuntu - Can't see menu bar -

we installed vs code on ubuntu 14.04 lts. did installing rpm , adding path path.

when start code works fine except there no menu bar. (so can't check version).

i have tried toggling 'view: toggle menu bar' command in command palette (f1) doesn't help. hitting alt takes me ubuntu 'type command' window.

how can fix please?

testing - Detect whether test has failed within fixture -

Angularjs unit testing - ng-disabled not working when adding text to textarea -
